Sacred Indian Summer

2004 Reg. APHA mare by the famous World Champion “Sacred Indian”

Summer is in her third full season of hunting and has hunted with Deep Run, Reedy Creek, Thornton Hill, Keswick, Snickersville and Orange. She has also trail ridden extensively. Goes easily in first or second flight and has hunted with many different riders of all levels. She is as kind a mare as can be, easy to handle in every way on the ground or under saddle. Hunts in a snaffle, has nice balanced and comfortable gaits, finds the jumps easily, is brave and honest without being hot or strong. She is also very well schooled in the ring. She is showing in the 3' jumpers and is currently schooling 3'6 courses (has jumped up to 4’6 oxers). Has competed and won in hunter paces and hunter trials. She has an excellent reputation in the hunt field; will gladly provide references.

Bon Jovi

Great jumper, quiet, willing and careful. He is an awesome Child/Adult or novice jumper consistently winning with a novice rider. Always has beautiful, smooth rounds and would do the Eq as well. JJ is absolutely gorgeous and will turn heads. He has lots of scope in a nice little package. He goes in a snaffle and is on the quiet side. Brave to the fences, does not need to school (jumps liverpools, walls, banks, ditches...). Wonderful cross country as well, placing 2nd in every class over fences at Deep Run Hunter Trials. Has been Champion 4 out of the last 6 shows, just moved up to the childrens’ jumpers and attending his first A show in June (RVHS)

Luke is in his first season of hunting but you wouldn't know it. He is excellent in any field (first or hilltop).Hunting with Reedy Creek and Deep Run Hunt. Quiet, balanced,uphill, will lead or follow equally well through any terrain. Luke is extremely comfortable, and has excellent manners under saddle, on the ground, with hounds and other horses. He is very well put together and has great feet. He has the build to make a great gentleman’s field hunter but is easy and light enough for any lady as well. He turns head with his looks and presence everywhere he goes. Hunts in a D ring snaffle. Loads, ties anywhere, baths, clips, stands for farrier all with the best of manners.

DK Rolan

2008 Reg. Dutch Harness 16.3h gelding

Rolan is broke to ride and drive (single), has excellent ground manners and is a joy to handle in every way. He is currently w/t/c in the ring as well as learning lateral work. He is wonderful on the trails, whether leading or following through creeks, bridges and any obstacle, in small or large groups. He has done two hunter paces with a junior rider (non-jumping) and was wonderful. He has been jumped twice and will be an excellent jumper with good knees and very willing. Rolan has the mind, gaits and looks to make a fabulous field hunter, jumper, eventer or dressage horse.

Update: Has been hunting with Deep Run and Stonewall 2nd flight - is great with hounds, other horses and all obstacles. Hunts in a D-ring snaffle.

Louie-Louie

Louie is what a great TB should be. Wonderful to ride, light, responsive and scopey. He has three great gaits, perfect lead changes and lots of scope. He is brave cross country and goes through any terrain..bridges, mud, water. He is currently showing in the jumpers, and has done hunter paces (will lead or follow). He is not spooky or silly. He will make up to be a great eventer/field hunter or jumper.

Louie has a great temperament and really wants to please. Great to handle in every way. Ready to start hunting fall 2011.

AJ is a nice big, quiet, kind gelding. He is well started in the ring, over fences as well as on the trails and cross-country. He was started by his amateur owners/breeders and has always been easy to bring along. He has just started professional training in order to bring him up to show ready level.

He has three good gaits and is a scopey and willing jumper. He will make up as a nice eventer, jumper or field hunter. Currently hunting with Deep Run; has excellent manners with hounds and other horses.
